Goodreads, the popular site for readers and book recommendations which was launched in January 2007, recently released its list of the Goodreads Choice Awards Best Books of 2013 Winners. A total of 1,953,770 votes were cast from Nov 4 to 9, 2013 (Opening Round), Nov 11 to 16 (Semifinal Round) and Nov 18 to 25 (Final Round) by various readers to determine which books deserve to be called the winners.

Here are the Goodreads Choice Awards Best Books of 2013 winners. They are divided into 20 categories including Fiction, Young Adult Fiction and Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Paranormal Fantasy, Romance, Mystery and Thriller, and Horror. The other categories are Nonfiction, Memoir and Autobiography, History and Biography, Food and Cookbooks, and Humor. There's also a special category for the Best Debut Goodreads Author.
