There will be "a stronger through-line" for Kalinda in The Good Wife Season 6, series co-creator Robert King told TVLine, and "after you've seen the first episode, I think you'll understand why." King noted.

Archie Panjabi has earned many fans (not to mention the critics' respect) for her performance in The Good Wife. However, Season 5 showed less of her character Kalinda's story. Still, one of the previous season's cliffhangers is about Kalinda's complicated relationship with Cary Agos.

"(W)e'd lost some of the fun people who we'd built around Kalinda," King told TV Line, which reported Lana Delaney (Jill Flint) and Sophia Russo (Kelli Giddish) will be showing up in The Good Wife Season 6 to further expand Kalinda Sharma's world.

CBS has this web page to engage fans for the upcoming new season of The Good Wife. Season 6 starts off and continues without Will Gardner (Josh Charles), who has died in a tragic court drama in Season 5. Many fans still could not believe how things ended between Alicia and Will.

Still, Josh Charles remains a part of The Good Wife Season 6, as he is expected to direct series episodes time and again.

Toward the end of The Good Wife Season 5, Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) asks Alicia whether she would consider running for State Attorney. Spoilers indicate she would say she is not interested, but some fans are hoping the good wife herself would reconsider.

Meanwhile, Diane (Christine Baranski) is the new power player at the firm that Alicia and Cary have built. Her story post-Will is also much awaited this new season.

The Good Wife Season 6 premieres on CBS this Sunday, Sept. 21, at 9/8c.
