The Golden State Warriors (20-4) had their four-game winning streak snapped by the Memphis Grizzlies (17-8) during a 110-89 defeat at the FedExForum on Saturday evening.

In a shocking outcome, the Splash Brothers -- Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson -- shot a combined 8/28 from the field and 3/14 from the three-point line as the Grizzlies took a first half lead of 61-38 before fighting off a comeback form the Warriors in the second half. No other team had led by the Warriors by 30+ points at any stage this season. See final box score on ESPN.

Golden State Warriors struggle...

Kevin Durant was the only Warrior starter who had a decent shooting night, going 7/13 from the field for his 21 points. While Draymond Green played only 26 minutes for his 7 points, veteran Anderson Varejao started in place of regular centre Zaza Pachulia and struggled to make an impact against Grizzlies star Marc Gasol.

The Grizzlies are now on a 6-0 winning streak despite playing without starting PG Mike Conley and offseason acquisition Chandler Parsons. In a total team effort on Saturday, all five of their starters scored in double digits with Gasol (19 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks) and Tony Allen (19 points) leading the way.

For Golden State, the only bright spot was their bench -- which combined for a total of 36 points. With the Splash Brothers having off nights, Ian Clark and Shaun Livingston played additional minutes and helped Golden State out-score the Grizzlies in the final two quarters.

"We couldn't have played much worse, and I thought (Grizzlies) were great. They came out, took it to us," said Steve Kerr, coach of the Warriors, via ESPN.

Klay Thompson blamed the lack of rhythm in the offense. "We weren't on the same page. We were trying to force too many things. (The Grizzlies) definitely took us out of our rhythm early, and we let that affect us on the offensive end and the defensive end."

The Golden State Warriors will next visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies travel to Cleveland to face the NBA champions on Tuesday evening.
