In the penultimate episode of “Girl Meets World” Season 2, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) were arguing about potential changes to be made to the bay window, which was valuable to both of them. Later on, they realise the importance of the window to them through the years, especially to their friendship. The episode was a big tearjerker with the friends promising each other that they will always be together even when they get to high school soon.

The next episode, titled “Girl Meets Legacy,” will focus on being grateful for the people who have been helpful through the years.

“Next: Our season finale. What is the best thing to leave the people who have taught you? You show them they have helped you grow. Legacy,” the show writers teased via Twitter.

Carter Matt writes that the Season 2 finale will focus on gratitude and appreciating people who helped through the journey. The episode may be a tribute to Cory Matthews (Ben Savage). The episode will most likely show how Cory raised his daughter Riley well. Similar to the penultimate episode, there may be flashbacks to show some of the best father-daughter experiences.

The roles that Cory and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) will play in Season 3 is still unclear, although they will definitely be around to guide Riley and Auggie, especially as Riley steps into the new world of high school. Auggie is still too young to join class at the moment, so the parents are expected to influence their children in various ways depending on the situation.

Riley and Auggie will also learn the value of being grateful for the things that other people do for them. The episode may provide a good closure to how Riley used to be under the close care of her parents in school. Season 3 has already been renewed, which will delve more on high school challenges. Riley will most likely be more independent as she enters a new phase of her life. However, her parents are still expected to give her lessons every now and then.

The final episode of “Girl Meets World” Season 2 is also expected to be funny, sweet and sentimental. Some scenes will feature how the characters have developed from the beginning.

“Girl Meets World” Season 2 Episode 30 will air on Mar. 11 on Disney Channel.
