Fitbit Force-Features

Fitbit Force is fitness tracker gadget that monitors sleep patterns and the waking time of a person. It is a device that can be worn around the wrist like a band or a bracelet to track one's fitness activities.

Once put on the wrist, it starts to track the activities such as distance traveled, steps taken, stairs and floors climbed and the number of calories burned by the daily activities performed. Along with tracking of the waking hours, the band helps in monitoring sleep, number of hours slept and times of waking up.

The band allows viewing the fitness stats in a chart form. It has alphanumeric displays and gives details in exact number.

It can be synced with the mobile phone with the Bluetooth 4.0 and a surprising feature is that it shows the incoming call notifications. It is compatible with iOS7 and Android users NFC which serves the syncing purpose.

It may be water-resistant but using it while showering or washing the dishes is not advised. The battery-life of 7 to 10 days is specified by Fitbit.

The company has also notified about a firmware update that will add a new feature of caller ID for the iPhone users. It is available in two colors: black and slate.
