As fans eagerly await the return of “Geordie Shore” on the small screen in a few weeks, MTV’s hit reality show offers another treat to further spice up the upcoming season.

Two of the show’s alumni, Kyle Christie and Sophie Kasaei, have been confirmed to join other “Geordie Shore” cast members Gary “Gaz” Beadle, Holly Hagan, Chloe Ferry, Aaron Chalmers, Scotty "T" Tomlin, Nathan Henry, Marnie Simpson and Marty McKenna for Series 13. The notorious gang from Newcastle promises this would be the most dramatic season yet, as they hop from one party scene to another along the Mediterranean coast , including Magaluf, Ibiza, Kavos and Ayia Napa [watch trailer below].

Followers of the reality TV show would remember that in the last season, the rambunctious bunch celebrated five years of bringing entertainment to a whole new level with “Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle.” Both Kyle and Sophie returned on this particular series, and are now set to be part of “Geordie Shore” Series 13, according to Digital Spy.

“Big Birthday Battle” was Sophie’s first appearance since she left in Series 7, while Kyle was last seen in Series 11 when he dumped Holly. This created a lot of tension and awkwardness among the “Geordie Shore” members, and they decided to send him home.

Speaking of Holly, she was earlier reported to be leaving the reality show. However, she cleared the air and assured her fans that she’d still be part of the upcoming series. “To clarify, I am in series 13. I always have been. I've never changed my mind and begged to come back," she told Daily Star. She hinted, however, that her appearance in "Geordie Shore" Season 14 is not yet set in stone.

As far as dramatic exits are concerned, “Geordie Shore” certainly has its fair share. One of its cast members, Chantelle Connelly, will appear this season, but is confirmed to leave the show before it wraps up.
