Fans of “General Hospital” (“GH”) are in for an eventful week as Port Charles offers a whole load of unexpected twists. On Tuesday, Anna (Finola Hughes) reels at the sudden influx of memories that she’ll be having, especially a pivotal one that reveals a stunning truth about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).
Spoilers suggest that Anna and Valentin’s connection is much deeper, one that goes back a long while. This week, Valentin is also reported to show his true colors, and “GH” viewers will be left stunned. Speaking of Valentin, he’s in for quite a surprise as his sister, Olivia Jerome heads back to Port Charles. Actress Tonja Walker takes over the role and makes her debut on the Jan. 17 episode.
She joins other “General Hospital” characters who will appear on the upcoming episodes, including Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Lulu (Emme Rylan), Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), Griffin (Matt Cohen), Julian (William DeVry), Jordan (Vinesse Antoine), Andre (Anthony Montgomery), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey).

TV Guide reports that Tuesday’s installment also features Jordan, who insists doing what she wants, even if it means defying Andre's orders. Elsewhere, Julian deals with a threat that would endanger the life of a loved one.
On Wednesday, Griffin hurls accusations on someone, while Julian finally confronts something that he’s been avoiding. Lulu, on the other hand, tries to spend some quality time with Charlotte.
Thursday’s run focuses on Valentin, as he lets everyone know who he really is. Meanwhile, Dante offers Lulu some comfort. Elsewhere, something triggers an important memory of Anna that would create such a massive impact.
“G&H” will not air an original episode on Friday because of ABC’s coverage of the presidential inauguration.
