With less than a month to go before the awaited Game Developers Conference 2015, and Microsoft has finally released a few more details on what gamers can expect of the event. It seems that the Xbox will receive a “full force” backing, thanks to the confirmed 16 sponsored sessions, boot presence and lounges for the Xbox and Windows 10 devices.

Announced via the Xbox Wire, Microsoft’s presence will be spearheaded at the event on Mar. 4 by no less than Xbox head Phil Spencer. The opening presentation is limited to GDC attendees, but it will be made ready for viewing on various channels like YouTube, Xbox Wire, Xbox Live, YouTube and Channel 9.

Specifically, the GDC 2015 will bring in more information and a look at the development of games for all fronts of Microsoft. There will also be a peek into what else is coming from the ID@Xbox, the Xbox arm for independent gaming. Capping off the reveals for the GDC 2015, Microsoft has also revealed that GDC attendees will have the chance to get up close and check out the new tools for game developers and new features that will be coming to the Xbox One and Windows 10 this year.

The official announcement follows a sighting of the exhibitor map spotted by DualShockers, which earlier provided some clues as to Microsoft’s possible plans for the GDC 2015. In the earlier leak, Microsoft has managed to get the biggest booths in both the expo and the business areas.

Add the fact that the lineup of speakers for the Xbox One include not only Xbox head Phil Spencer, but also other names like Turn 10 Studios architect Chris Tector, Microsoft’s Don Box, ID@Xbox director Chris Charla, senior program manager Cierra McDonald and other program managers and engineers for Microsoft, there’s sure to be a lot of discussion focused on Microsoft’s next plan for its next-gen console: further integration with the Windows 10.

This becomes even more apparent when looking at the lineup of panels for the Xbox One and Windows 10, officially revealed over at the GDC official website. There will be panels especially for the DirectX 12, new services for the Xbox Live multiplayer, the development of Xbox Live for Windows 10 and the distribution of games across the board for Microsoft’s PC, Windows and the Xbox Marketplace.
