Since its release a couple of months back, CD Projekt Red’s “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” gained nothing but positive feedback from players and media outlets for its gripping storyline and content. Behind the game are a lineup of accolades and awards that solidify its status as the best game this year. New reports claim that the game received yet another award from a prominent retailer.

Brick and mortar retailer GameStop has declared CD Projekt RED’s “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” as its official Game of the Year for 2015, Dualshockers reports. Aside from the prestigious title, GameStop is also offering a huge discount on the game, so players who’ve yet to get their hands on it should act fast.

GameStop is offering PlayStation 4 and Xbox One copies of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” with a 50 percent discount. This means that players can secure themselves a copy of the highly acclaimed game for only $29.99 (AU$41.13) instead of $59.99 (AU$82.30). The discount is comparable to that of holiday’s sales like the Steam Winter Sale, which also slashed a huge price off “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”

Aside from the base game, GameStop is also offering the Hearts of Stone expansion for $9.99 (AU$13.70). The Hearts of Stone DLC is the first expansion of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” and it adds a total of 10 hours of gameplay to the base game. The Blood and Wine DLC, meanwhile, is slated to add 20 more hours, and it will launch early next year.

The offer will also secure players with a physical deck of Gwent cards similar to the ones found in the game. GameStop did not announce until when the offer will last, but it may end soon as 2016 is fast approaching.
