Things are going to get pretty “dark” in “Game of Thrones” Season 7 with the White Walkers and the Wights invading Westeros, Kit Harington said in a recent interview. Cast member Maisie Williams also warned that the fans should prepare themselves for some shocking moments.

Kit Harington (Jon Snow) hasn’t read the script of the next season yet, however he told The Hollywood Reporter that he believes the show is going to get “very bleak” before a “happy ending.” He teased that things could get “very dark” in the next season and said that the White Walkers and the Wights will “really come into force” now.

After repeated mentions from the first season, winter has finally arrived in Westeros. Harington said that he doesn’t really know what that means, but suspects that everyone is going to have a “really bad time” now that it has arrived. The actor suspects that any time the viewers see “win or heroic moment” for Jon or anyone else in “Game of Thrones” Season 7; things can go downhill pretty quickly from that point.

While Harington was only speculating about the events in the next season, fellow cast member Williams (Arya Stark) has already read the script. In a series of messages on Twitter, the actress teased that there will be some shocking moments on the show. The actress did not reveal what these events will be.

The TV series is known for unexpected deaths of major characters and shocking turn of events. As the show is racing towards an epic conclusion; some of the most dramatic moments of the show could be featured in the next two years.

Filming of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 has been delayed because the producers are waiting for the right weather conditions to film the winter scenes. The production will be based in Northern Ireland and the cast and crew will also travel to Spain and Iceland in order to film additional scenes.
