Daenerys Targaryen will have an interesting arc in “Game of Thrones” season 7, according to a leak. The character is finally in a strong position now, and will begin to show what kind of a ruler she will eventually become.

[Spoiler alert]

The fans have been wondering for some time now about who the main villain will be in the next season. The two likely candidates are Cersei (Lena Headey) and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk), but there is also Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

According to a leak of the plot posted on Reddit, Daenerys will burn a few lords of Westeros for not bending the knee. One major House that will face her wrath is the Tarlys. Both Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) will be worried about her behavior and will be concerned about her becoming a “Mad Queen.”

The Targaryens are known to have some madness in them, and the most prominent in the line of kings is Aerys, who was known as the Mad King. The last thing Daenerys’ father said before he was murdered by Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) was “burn them all.”

Daenerys appears to be showing streaks of that Targaryen personality in “Game of Thrones” season 7. The character, however, will not go too far down that dark path, and will focus on saving the realm in the end rather than fight for the Iron Throne. She will be with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) for most of the next season, and the two will slowly start to respect each other and also have sex in the finale.

Varys is only interested in seeing a kind and wise ruler on the throne, according to the leak. With Daenerys and Jon Snow forming a team in “Game of Thrones” season 7; the two characters are poised to sit on the Iron Throne together.
