A new theory about “Game of Thrones” Season 7 has surfaced online. The theory talks about the possible death of Cersei Lannister, and who could be the one to kill her. There is also the possibility of her managing to survive the impending war.

[Spoiler alert]

Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) took the Iron Throne in the previous season by killing all her enemies in King’s Landing. According to a prediction by Winter Is Coming, her rule will be short, with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) invading Westeros. However, she has a lot of enemies who are all good candidates to be the ones to kill her.

The report starts off with the remote possibility of Cersei surviving. It should be noted that the major war will be between the living versus the dead, so Daenerys will have to wrap things up quickly in King’s Landing and head north to support Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

If Cersei is to survive, it may have something to do with Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk), who is expected to form an alliance with Cersei in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. In case the war against Daenerys doesn’t go well, he could smuggle Cersei to the Iron Islands, but that is unlikely as the power hungry queen may not want to let go of the Iron Throne, and may rather see the whole city burn.

However, chances her high that Cersei doesn’t survive the next season. The most likely candidate to bring her down, according to the prediction, is Daenerys. But, it may not be the Mother of Dragons who delivers the final blow. Just as Jon Snow did most of the work on the battlefield to bring down Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) and then let Sansa (Sophie Turner) get her revenge, Daenerys could win the war and allow Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) to kill his sister.

Another likely candidate to kill Cersei is Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). The little girl is back as a master assassin, and she has the queen’s name on her list of people to kill. Another possibility is Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) killing his sister in “Game of Thrones” Season 7.
