“Game of Thrones” Season 7 could take the viewers back to Essos, even though the storyline appears to be moving away from the continent and more into Westeros. A popular theory suggests how a character, who is on a quest to find a cure for a dreaded disease, could return in a dramatic fashion along with someone familiar from the past.

[Spoiler alert]

As previously reported, Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) was spotted on a plane recently, heading to Belfast. The city in Northern Ireland has been the home for the production of the popular HBO series. The last time viewers saw Jorah; he was tasked with finding a cure for the fatal Greyscale disease.

According to a theory posted on Reddit, Jorah will be travelling to Qarth to try and find a cure. The people who are afflicted with Greyscale are called Stone Men and they are exiled to live out their remaining lives in Old Valyria. Jorah had previously met someone in Qarth, who was helping a man who wanted to travel to Old Valyria.

The theory points out that Quaithe (Laura Pradelska), who appeared in only two episodes in 2012, is an important character and she was introduced for a reason. She is a shadowbinder from Asshai who always wears a mask.

If Jorah has to find a cure for Greyscale, his only possible lead is Quaithe in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. He knows the mysterious character can be trusted, because she helped him in the past and is a supporter of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

The fates of two major characters hang in the balance in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. If Jorah travels to Essos, there is a possibility that Daario (Michiel Huisman) could also be seen in Meereen. The two characters appeared to bond while they searched for the Mother of Dragons in the previous season.
