After a long Christmas break, the cast and crew are back on the sets of “Game of Thrones” season 7 to continue filming. Emilia Clarke shared a behind-the-scenes video to show what it feels like after getting back to work after the holiday season.

Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) got a few weeks off after her busy filming schedule for the HBO TV series. The actress is now back on the set to finish the remaining episodes that have to be filmed. But, getting back to work after a long holiday is not easy- even while working on the most popular show on earth.

Appearing with her makeup on for the show, Clarke teased a video from the set. The actress joked about finding it difficult to put down her holiday champagne, and put on her wig to film her scene.

Clarke has been filming for a long time now, along with her fellow cast members. Since the storylines in “Game of Thrones” season 7 have converged to a very large extent, the cast members will get more screen time, as many of the major point of view characters will be filming scenes together.

Some of the characters, like Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), got less screen time last year. Characters like Davos (Liam Cunningham) got an expanded role. This year with only seven episodes, the fans may get to see a lot more of Daenerys and her supporters.

With the armies of Westeros preparing for the next phase of the war there will be more action with the dragons getting involved. In her post Clarke joked about not having a drink before riding her dragon.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 is set to premiere on June 25. The show is heading towards the final battles now, and the White Walker invasion is expected to finally begin this year.
