Keeping with the long tradition of music band cameos, “Game of Thrones” season 7 will also reportedly feature a music band making an appearance in one of the scenes. This scene will be a part of the finale episode.

Sources have told WatchersOnTheWall that the British indie pop band Bastille filmed a scene for the HBO TV series recently. The band members will be appearing as Wildlings in the cameo scene. The filming is said to have taken place at Wolf Hill in Ireland, where most of the filming of the North usually takes place.

Bastille band members are fans of the show, and in the past had Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) appear in their song “Oblivion.” There is no official confirmation of the group being a part of the show yet. The band members have confirmed that they will be visiting the sets of the show, but did not confirm being a part of a scene.

The report notes that a major action sequence involving hundreds of extras was filmed at Wolf Hill. It is not clear if the band was a part of this scene of “Game of Thrones” season 7.

In the past many members of music bands have been a part of the show. Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Will Champion of Coldplay, Sigur Rós, Mastodon and Of Monsters and Men have all been a part of the show.

Bastille is a relatively new band, which was formed in 2010. The members are Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson and Chris Wood. They have two albums released; “Bad Blood” was out in 2013, and “Wild World” in 2016.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 is set to premiere on June 25. The show can be watched on Foxtel in Australia, and will later be available on iTunes and Google Play.
