Lesbian scenes in “Game of Thrones” are not uncommon. However, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit HBO high-fantasy drama, has some very interesting things in mind and that involves lesbian love.

Turner recently revealed that Sansa has suffered a great deal in the hands of men, especially Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) and Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). Such was their mental and physical torture that Sophie wants Sansa to swing the other way and consider women for romance.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sophie was asked who she wanted Sansa to get romantically involved with. Quite unexpectedly she revealed that men are not working for Sansa and hence it would be better she turns to women for love. When asked who she had in mind, Sophie said that Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) seems fit.

“In the GoT universe, I think she’s going to have to swing the other way – because the men thing isn’t working for her. Judging by Sansa’s relationship with Margaery … probably Margaery,” Sophie said.

However, quiet shockingly, Sophie also named another character from “Game of Thrones” who is currently receiving training to become an assassin and is also a woman. Sophie jokingly said that Sansa may also hook up with younger sister Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and that she would love to do a love scene with Maisie.

“Or [Sansa could hook up with] Arya – because I’d like to see that happen,” Turner said, laughing. “I’d love a love scene between Arya and Sansa,” Sophie added.

[Spoiler Alert] This suggestion by Sophie seems to be pretty wicked and more unusual than all the hook-ups in “Game of Thrones” history. The show has never shied away from portraying aberrant sexuality even when handling incestuous relationships. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and own brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) are still pretty much in love in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and have always been.

However, there is the Faith Militant. If Sansa does end up with Margaery or sister Arya, they better stay away from King’s Landing. Moreover, Margaery may shiver at the very idea of homosexuality and lesbianism, especially after her altercation with the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) to save her brother who was in a homosexual relationship.
