Soldiers of House Tyrell will enter King’s Landing and will be involved in a major confrontation in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. An important scene involving some of the main characters will reportedly be filmed in Girona soon. [Spoiler alert]

According to a report by Winter Is Coming, there may be a major confrontation between the soldiers of House Tyrell and the Faith Militants in the next season. At least 50 Sparrows (members of the Faith of the Seven) are said to be involved in a scene that will soon be filmed. Some of the leaked pictures from the set show swords and armoured horses that will be used in the scene.

Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) along with her brother Loras (Finn Jones) were taken captive by the Faith Militants in the previous season, for their sins. The power of the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) grew substantially after Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) allowed the members of the faith to form a militia army of their own.

According to a report by Winter Is Coming, the High Sparrow is “digging in for a standoff.” The presence of soldiers of House Tyrell, however, may lead to the High Sparrow changing his position. The scene that is expected to be filmed soon will reportedly involve Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) leading a group of Tyrell soldiers to the Sept of Baelor and secure the release of Margaery.

The scene apparently doesn’t involve any fighting between the soldiers and the Faith Militants. Pryce is already in Girona to film this scene, Watchers On The Wall reports. The report confirms that a scene involving the soldiers of House Tyrell will soon be filmed in the city and the scene also includes King Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman).

Pictures from the production set in Girona show executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are already in the city to oversee the filming of the scene. Another cast member who is also in the city is Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and she has been busy filming her scenes separately for the past few weeks.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is expected to premiere in April 2016. Some of the other cast members of the show include Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth).
