Maisie Williams teased some details about her character in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that things will get “a lot darker” for her character in the next season.

The past seasons of the show have been difficult for Arya emotionally. After seeing so much death in her family and no place to call home, the character had been wandering from place to place. It was only in the previous season that she finally seemed to be settling in. But, her troubles are set to continue in the next season.

"Every season with Arya adds a different layer, I feel," Williams said at a press conference for the launch of the DVD set for Season 5, Digital Spy reports. Williams said at the event that the new season will “strip away” more layers of her character and it will get “a lot darker” for her, revealing “what’s underneath.” The next season will apparently strip away her emotions.

Williams revealed that “Game of Thrones” Season 6 will not have anything to do with any more deaths in her character’s family and will focus only on her transformation. The actress also teased that Arya will be “broken down totally” and she will be at “the lowest point we've ever seen her” in.

The actress said that the next season will show a “crack” in Arya’s personality and revealed that there is moment in which the viewers will question whether she is going to “get back up or keep fighting.” The events towards the end of the previous season teased that the challenges for Arya will be much more physical in nature.

The promo pictures of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 released so far show Arya Stark as a blind beggar on the streets of Braavos. The character is expected to spend a considerable time in the city in the next season too.
