Cast member Ian McShane shared a big spoiler about “Game of Thrones” Season 6 in a recent interview. The actor said that his character will bring back someone who is dead on the show.

[Spoiler alert]

The most talked about fan favourite character at the moment is Jon Snow (Kit Harington). The fans have been speculating how the character will return after the actor was spotted filming scenes for the show.

In an interview on “Breakfast” program on BBC, McShane said that his character will bring back someone that fans thought they would never see again, Entertainment Weekly reports. The actor teased that his character has a group of “peaceful” people and it is like a “cult.”

The name of McShane’s character has still not been revealed. The actor’s words suggest that his character may be a part of a group that worships the Red God R’hllor. Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) was previously brought back to life by a priest from this religion.

Entertainment Weekly has also released a new deleted scene from the previous season that teases Jon Snow’s impending death. The scene is an interaction between Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) and Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju). In the scene, Tormund taunts Alliser about not being in charge anymore.

With Jon gone, Alliser is set to become the new Lord Commander in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Alliser has never been found of the Free Folk and with a sizable number of them having come inside the Wall, friction between the Night’s Watch and the Free Folk can be expected.

Many of the cast members of the show have repeatedly said that Jon Snow is dead. Jon Snow’s possible return in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 may also impact any fight between the Night’s Watch and the Free Folk, as Jon is respected by the Free Folk.
