'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: All 5 teaser trailers emphasise war and Jon Snow's fate [Watch]
All the five teaser trailers of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 have two things in common. The videos tease that there are going to be a lot of battles in the next season and the producers appear to be emphasising the fate of fan favourite character Jon Snow.

The very first trailer of the next season reminded the viewers that the “past has already been written” and the “ink is dry,” suggesting that the past can’t be changed. The voice over comes with the death scene of Jon Snow (Kit Harington). The video also showed the deaths of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and highlights from the previous season.

Later, three teaser videos for House Targaryen, House Lannister and House Stark were released. The videos showed the battle banners of each house with voice over that pointed out the challenges they face.

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) has to deal with a Dothraki horde that captured her in the previous season. The Lannisters will have to contain the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) and his forces and the Starks will have to find a way to reclaim Winterfell from the Boltons in “Game of Thrones” Season 6.
The most recently released teaser trailer of the next season showed the Hall of Faces from the House Black and White in Braavos. The trailer began by showing the faces of all the dead characters on the show. The Face of Jon was also included in the trailer, but before fans jump to any conclusion it should be noted that the faces of characters who are alive on the show are also featured in the video.

This is the second time Ned Stark has been shown in the trailers. This suggests that the parentage of Jon Snow will be explored in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Perhaps the repeated emphasis of Jon Snow’s death is to make sure the fans are surprised when he is brought back to life, as per the expectations of the fans.
