Alfie Allen and Liam Cunningham teased some of the scenes in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 premiere episode. Allen said that Sansa and his character will finally get to meet a major character while they are escaping and Cunningham talked about Melisandre.

[Spoiler alert]

Theon (Allen) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) were last seen jumping from a wall to escape from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). Allen revealed in a recent interview that in the premiere episode of the next season his character and Sansa will be running through the snowy and freezing forests in the north, NewsX reports.

The actor revealed that while the two characters are running through the forest they will come upon a river. Sansa will be scared to enter, so Theon will enter the river first to give her some courage. The promo picture of Sansa holding the hands of Theon is apparently from this scene and the actor revealed that it is not Sansa who is helping Theon in this scene, but it’s the other way around.

Allen also revealed that this will be the time when Sansa will finally get to meet Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Theon and Sansa will be chased by men sent by Ramsay. Brienne and Pod (Daniel Portman) will come at the right time and take care of the soldiers.

In the fight sequence, Pod will also get a chance to prove his skills. While he is fighting with a soldier, Theon will stab the soldier in the back. Theon will be killing after a very long time, after being tortured by Ramsay for so long, and Allen said that it was a “gratifying experience.”

Meanwhile, Cunningham (Davos) told Express.co.uk that the “Game of Thrones” Season 6 premiere episode will once again show Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) to be silent. He said that Melisandre will be “shaken” after the death of Stannis (Stephen Dillane).
