Here is something new for non-book readers of George R.R. Martin's "The Song of Ice and Fire" novels. HBO is casting two new characters, Malko and Clea, on its TV adaptation of the books in the show's highly anticipated season 5.

"Lost" alum Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is playing Malko, a character not included in the book, but details on the actor's role is being kept under wraps, according to Hollywood Reporter. Best known for his role as Mr. Eko and Dark Elf Kurse in "Thor 2: The Dark World," Adewale recently joined the cast in Jay Roach's "Trumbo" and will be acting alongside "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren and Diane Lane.

The actor tweeted about his upcoming role in HBO's fantasy series confirming about his casting. The post reads, "Mixing it up for next year! #Trumbo @GameOfThrones #Annie." Playing an unfamiliar character for GOT season 5, the Hollywood star will join the ensemble cast of the show in the exotic lands of Seven Kingdoms.

"For season 5, again, the fear started to dissipate when we outlined it and realized how much story we had to tell," according to showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss in a statement posted on IGN. "Now that we're nearly finished with the first drafts of each episode, we see no reason why the coming season shouldn't be the strongest yet."

Another character on the show is a young prostitute named Clea who is reportedly going to have a conversation with Tyrion, who is currently on the run after killing his father, Tywin Lannister. Based on a report, Welsh actress Gwyneth Keyworth will play the small role.

Known for her role as Marnie, a young pregnant woman in "Misfits" season 2 finale, Keyworth recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and was a star in the "Vodka Diaries" as Periel this year. The actress will join fellow "Misfits" stars Michelle Fairley, Iwan Rheon, Nathalie Emmanuel and Josef Altin who transitioned from the show to "Game of Thrones."

"Game of Thrones" season 5 will return to HBO in April 2015.
