It's been a long eight months since the season finale of "Game of Thrones" Season 2. But over the weekend HBO was generous enough to offer the fans of what to expect for the season 3 of "Game of Thrones."

HBO released their very first "detailed" trailer about what's to happen and expect on "Game of Thrones" season 3. All the other videos before were as puzzling as the productions' silence about the hit medieval fantasy series. But the trailer that was released over the weekend gave their audience a glimpse of the coming episodes.

With the minute long video, each main character were seen in their own battles. "Game of Thrones" fans get a chance to see Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, Cersei Lannister, Rob Stark, Tyrion Lannister and many more once again.

As promised by the producers and creators, the show will be filled with war and sex. In the trailer, Daenerys was seen leading an army, Rob Stark and Jon Snow will each have their taste of romance and someone seems to be burning aboard a Lannister boat.

The "Game of Thrones" season 3 is based on George R.R. Martin's third novel "A Storm of Swords." And because the novel was long, HBO and the creators decided to split it to two parts, the first part being the highly anticipated season 3.

"Game of Thrones" season 3 will air on March 31 at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
