Winter is coming, and so are new stills of Emilia Clarke playing Daenerys Targaryen in the filming of the third season of Game of Thrones.

Much anticipation is built around the April premiere of HBO's medieval hit, Game of Thrones, and these new images of Daenerys on set are making fans even more thrilled to witness its premiere.

In the last season, Daenerys has re-gained power and dominance in the form of wealth, after seizing the hidden kingdom of Qarth. After not agreeing to Xaro Xhoan Daxos' marriage proposal and ultimately defeating the voodoo powers of Pyat Pree, Daenerys is ready to claim what is hers, to sit on the Iron throne with the help of her dragons.

Now that Daenerys is set to sail off to Pentos to begin her quest, fans and those who haven't read the third book, "A Storm of Swords," cannot wait for the events to unfold in the upcoming season. On April, fans will get to see Daenerys discovering herself even more, and gathering an army to take on Westeros.

The character is played by 25-year-old English actress, Emilia Clarke, who's starting to gain worldwide acclaim as the famous "mother of dragons." In Game of Thrones, Emilia is known for her long, silver hair and ability to nurse dragons. When not in the GOT set, Clarke dons a head of shiny, luscious brown locks and a vixen appeal that she flaunted in her latest GQ magazine shoot.

Funny enough, Emilia says that no matter how popular her character is, she is still deemed "unrecognizable" when out in public. When asked about what she thought of her chameleon fame, the actress honestly expressed her humorous side.

"So funny, because I'm so immediately unrecognizable," Clarke quips in her GQ interview.

"It takes a die-hard fan to actually spot me. These HBO events, where I'll be talking to someone for a fair amount of time, and then suddenly they're like, Oh sh*t! That's what you do!-they think I'm some crazy Brit who snuck her way into a Hollywood party." amusedly added the actress.
