In time with “Game Of Thrones” season 5 premiere, a parody of the HBO show with a theme of “Dumb Ways To Die,” the Metro Trains campaign for rail safety, has gone viral. The hit series is known for the grim deaths of its characters.

Titled “Dumb Ways to Die (Game of Thrones Edition),” the parody runs two minutes and 35 seconds. It was published on YouTube on April 10 and has since been viewed almost 1 million times with more than 10,000 likes.

The “Game Of Thrones” spoof appears fitting as none of its character are safe from an untimely death. Some of the characters in the series can be seen dying in the spoof in a way that is quite similar to the original video of the “Dumb Ways To Die” campaign.

Paying tribute to some of the most surprising deaths from “Game Of Thrones,” the parody features the poisoning of Joffrey Baratheon played by Jack Gleeson and smashing of the head of Oberyn Martell played by Pedro Pascal, among others.

Aired On April 12, “Game Of Thrones” season 5 episode 1 titled “The Wars To Come” featured a new enemy in Meereen and Peter Dinklage’s character Tyrion Lannister and Conlet Hill’s character Lord Varys arriving at Pentos. Watch the HBO series’ “Dumb Ways To Die” parody here:
