Known for his role in HBO's epic fantasy series "Game of Thrones," Hafthor Bjornsson aka Gregor Clegane was recently hailed as Europe's strongest man at Europe's Strongest Man competition. The Mountain won four out of six strength competitions which made him the "King of Stones" after completing the last challenge of lifting six stones on top of the huge barrels.

The 6'9" Nordic giant totally lost it when he was at the end of the competition as he ripped his shirt off in front of screaming spectators. The highlight of the strength contest was when Haftnor went on and yelled: "I am the future of strength as I am King of the Stones."

"It certainly seems a likely prediction, as the sports most dominant name Žydrūnas Savickas, the current and four-time World's Strongest Man and three time European champion, is now in his twilight years as a 39-year-old while the pretender to his throne is 14 years younger," reports Daily Mail.

Now that he completed the strength challenge in Leeds, the towering lifter continues to compete in the strongman completion around the world. The 24-year-old beefcake will join the rank of legends of the sport like Mariusz Pudzianowski, Zydrunas Savickas and England's own bearded beefcake Geoff Capes in the winners' hall of fame.

His biggest accomplishment to date, the "Icelander" was a runner-up in this year's World's Strongest Man and managed to finished third in the last two years. Despite his big success in Hollywood, the giant athlete made it clear that he is not leaving the sport anytime soon.

Last seen in HBO's "Game of Thrones" as The Mountain who crushed Red Vipers (Prince Oberyn Martell) skull like a ripe papaya in one of the show's epic battles. Cleverly turning the table from the victorious Dornish prince, his character is the perpetrator of TV's most brutal trial by combat duel.

It emerged that he was spiked numerous times by Oberyn's poisoned spear and it's still mystery if he is going to reprise his role in GOT's season 5. His body was handed over to a necromancer for experimentation and based on Cersei's last words they will do anything to keep him alive even if he will emerge as a different person.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is scheduled to premiere in 2015.
