"Game of Thrones" fans are in for a treat as new posters were released at the 2012 Comic-Con happening in San Diego, California.

Last Wednesday was the preview night for this year's Comic-Con. It was the best time for all the enthusiasts to check out what to expect for this year's event. Fans gathered at the San Diego Convention Center to check out the different variety of fields they are to expect from television, to video games and comic.

Almost every show imaginable will be present for this year's panel. But of course, a lot are very much looking forward for "Game of Thrones." The show's panel for the "Q&A" is scheduled on Friday, July 13 at 2:45 to 3:45 in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, Lena Headey won't be able to make it to the event as well as Kit Harrington who suffered an ankle injury. However, the new cast from the second season Rose Leslie, who plays Ygritte, will be present together with Emilia Clarke, Alfie Allen, Michelle Fairley and Richard Madden.

Production for "Game of Thrones" Season 3 is already in progress with Northern Ireland, Croatia and Morocco as production sites. Actors and actresses who are to play major leads for the coming season are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, for this year's Comic-Con, Mondo has teamed up with HBO and came up with impressive displays of posters. Just like last year, Mondo will be having their booth at the convention. To get first-hand information about the schedule of release of their posters, you might need to follow their Twitter account @MondoNews. Each poster is approximately priced around $50.
