Starting Friday, Samsung Galaxy S5, together with Gear smartwatches, will be at Best Buy store a few weeks before the launching on April 11.

Customers can pre-order AT&T GS5 versions Friday, shortly after midnight at BestBuy.com and other retailers. But Best Buy, along with selected carrier shops, will be the only venues where customers can try out the phone as they will have device samples before the April 11 official launch. Samples of Galaxy S5 will arrive to about 100 stores in 30 markets throughout the U.S.

The Gear smartwatches Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit will also be in Best Buy and will accept pre-orders with their prices just announced. They are not tied to any specific carrier, but they do work only with Samsung phone.

For Best Buy, this is the first time to showcase a phone before its launch. Best Buy has a close relationship with the South Korean electronics giant which was highlighted by Samsung Experience Shop in some Best Buys a year ago. Best Buy also had an exclusive Galaxy S4 on the blue version.

Pre-orders can be done online or in-store, and shipments will be in early April. Samsung Galaxy S5 is priced at $199 on-contract with AT&T. Buying the phone in full retail costs $649. There are options to join AT&T's Next 18 or Next 12 where cost is spread out over fixed monthly payments of $25 or $32.50 monthly, respectively.

Purchasing Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo or smartwatch, you will enjoy a $50 off when you purchase a Galaxy S5 AT&T. Promo ends on June 5.

T-Mobile announced reservations for Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available both online and in-store March 24. The carrier introduces a $0 down and 24 monthly gives of $27.50, which will be in effect until March 31. To attract Web site traffic, it also offers a chance to win GS5 and S-View Flip Cover by registering at their GS5 landing page.

In the case of Sprint, it announced GS5 will be available in April.
