Samsung Galaxy Note 4 With Ultra Voilet Rays Tracking Sensors Reuters

Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the successor model for the Galaxy Note 4 is expected to arrive this year. The Note 5 phablet is expected to come with beefed up specs. A curved edge model is also expected to arrive alongside.

According to Phone Arena, the South Korean tech giant has revealed through its Analysts Days presentation that it will be using Ultra HD Super AMOLED display support 2,160 x 3,840 resolution on a mobile this year. Phone Arena speculates that Samsung will use UHD displays on the upcoming Note 5 phablet.

The production of UHD displays will start in August this year and the Note 5 may get announced during the IFA 2015 expo. The Galaxy Note 4 was announced at the IFA 2014 expo in September last year.

As far as the size of the display is concerned, the Galaxy Edge Note 5 phablet will house a 5.7 9-inch display and the Galaxy Note 5 will be sporting a huge 5.89-inch display screen. The Edge Note 5 will support a pixel count of 762 ppi whereas the Galaxy Note 5 will offer a pixel count of 748 ppi.

According to DigiTimes, Qualcomm will begin with the mass production of Snapdragon 820 processors through Samsung. The South Korean tech giant is rumoured to roll out Snapdragon 820 powered edition to certain markets and rest of the market will receive the home baked Exynos chipset powered Note 5. It expected to be supported by 4 GB of RAM.

A recent from the International Business Times suggests that Samsung will introduce a 20 MP shooter on its Note 5 flagship with support for optical image stabilisation. Also, the fingerprint sensor that first arrived on the Galaxy S5 was not perfect. However, the manufacturers at Samsung have rolled out much improved fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a more advanced and secure biometric sensor. In addition to this, the Note 5 is also expected to feature iris scanner, reports Value Walk. The Note 5 will require a huge battery to support its advanced features. Rumours suggest it will come with an enormous tablet-class battery of 4,000 mAh. Lastly, the Note 5 is likely to get unveiled through IFA event. The Galaxy Note 5 release date is rumoured as October 2015.
