The Galaxy Note 4 release date is on September 2014 as reports last week say that Samsung is again using the Berlin IFA edition this year to initially show off the fresh specs and killer features of its fourth-gen phablet flagship.

To start off the new week, SamMobile is claiming that the Note 4 late Q3 2014 debut is virtually confirmed with the Samsung-friendly blog site pointing to an upcoming device that bears the model number SM-910A.

The handset, added the same report, will head to U.S. telco AT&T, which of course will only be among the numerous channels worldwide from which the second Sammy hero phone this 2014 will emerge.

Note too that SamMobile has earlier indicated that the Note 4 will come in two screen variants - a regular flat display panel that is geared for mass distribution and a curved OLED edition that Samsung will apparently ship to select destinations.

And these Galaxy Note 4s, if rumours would turn out as true, will deliver the four phablet capabilities below:

5.7-inch AMOLED with QHD display resolution

According to GSM Arena, Samsung has inadvertently published the Galaxy Note 4 screen size at 5.7-inch, which indicates that like the Galaxy S5 before it the Note 4 will retain the screen profile of its predecessor.

It is expected that the build to come will reflect a major step up, probably a lighter and thinner finish than the Note 3 though this cannot be confirmed at the moment. But what is a shoo-in is the inclusion of Quad HD panel with the Note 4, meaning the device will render in 2560 x 1440 or 2K screen resolution.

Exynos/Snapdragon powerhouse

As the Note 4 will boast of richer black, sharper colour and pixel-rich display panel, its processing chip is definitely a behemoth that SamMobile said will be a Snapdragon that is the edition that will touchdown on most markets where the device is geared for release.

For some specific destinations, like in Europe, the Galaxy Note 4 will draw its power from an Exynos 5433 CPU.

Killer camera

The Note 4 is nothing short of spectacular as reports suggest that it will sport a combo of 16MP rear lens sensor made by Sony with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2MP front-facing cam.

Android 4.5

As the case in the past three releases, the Galaxy Note phablet rolls out with the latest Android build, layered of course in TouchWiz skin. For the fourth iteration, Android 4.5 is expected to come out of the box with the Note 4, that is if Google would let out the software immediately after its I/O Developers Conference.

In such event, the Galaxy Note 4 on its September 2014 release date is likely among the first devices to showcase what stuff that the Android 4.5 is made of.
