Before reprising his role as Deckard Shaw in “Furious 8,” Jason Statham starred in the video game “Sniper X.” He was so happy about the success of the latest free-to-play game from Glu Media that he took to Instagram to thanks the players.

“Boom, Headshot!” Great to hear so many of you are already enjoying my new #SniperX game,” Statham captioned the photo. Aside from lending his voice to a character in “Sniper X,” Statham also looks like the character in the free-to-play game from Glu Media.

“Sniper X” can be downloaded for free via Google Play Store. Among the features of the free-to-play game are its elite armoury, heart-pounding gameplay, innovative upgrade system, stunning graphics and expert leadership, according to Android Central.

In “Sniper X,” it is the goal of the players to eliminate the targets presented to them in each level by taking aim down the sights and scopes of several high-powered weapons. To upgrade the rewards, the players have to collect rewards and they only have a short window of time to operate in, according to Gamezebo.

Meanwhile, Statham is set to star in the action TV series titled “Viva La Madness,” which he will produce with Steve Chasman. The screenplay of the TV series will be written by J.J. Connolly based on his novel with the same name.

In 2016, Statham will star opposite Jessica Alba and Tommy Lee Jones in the action film “Mechanic: Resurrection,” directed by Dennis Gansel. The action film will also star Tomer Oz, Allan Poppleton, John Cenatiempo, Raicho Vasilev, Natalie Burn, Sam Hazeldine and Michelle Yeoh, among others.

So far, Statham is one of the cast members confirmed to reprise his role in the action film sequel “Furious 8,” which will be released on April 14, 2017. Directed by “Straight Outta Compton” director F. Gary Gray, the sequel will star Statham, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris.
