There are a lot of things that is still yet to be revealed about Jon Snow, but when it comes to Kit Harrington, details are always available.

Kit Harrington definitely had his big break when he was launched as "Jon Snow" in HBO's hit medieval fantasy series "Game of Thrones." Although he plays a very serious and mysterious character, he seems to be completely different in real life.

So even if there are only few details known about Jon Snow's true identity, for the meantime, let's get to know more about the man behind the character.

His real name is Christopher but apparently, no one calls him that. He said in an interview that he was called Kit from day one and only found out about his real name when he was 11 years old.

He got his big break in theater. Kit studied Theater and Drama studies and graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama back in 2008.

He showed up at the "Game of Thrones" casting with a black eye. He said, "I don't remember what happened but it made me look a bit tougher than not having a black eye I guess."

It sounds adorable to hear from the actor who plays Jon Snow, but Kit admitted that he is not very good with public transport. He said whenever he rides the subway, somehow he always ends up in Brooklyn.

His idea of a good first date involves a cozy place with good wine. Kit said that he doesn't want to appear too eager or too romantic, so something laidback but still sincere would be nice.

He's a horror movie fan. He previously said, "I've always wanted to do a horror movie. My favorite is The Shining, but I also loved The Ring, the Scream movies and The Wicker Man with Christopher Lee."

He knows how to speak a little Icelandic.

"It's very difficult to say anything in Icelandic. I can say 'takk', which means 'thank you'. That's about all I learned. They're all brilliant at speaking English, so it's one of those problems that you don't have any trouble communicating," Kit said.
