Justin Bieber and Katy Perry has started the trend, is Beyoncé planning for her very own documentary as well?

Beyonce Knowles is set to produce and direct a film that will center around her life and career. The "Love on Top" singer is planning for a documentary that will show concert footages, backstage scenes and interviews of her together with her loved ones.

It seems like the trend which Justin Bieber Likely started is being followed by other music star. Katy Perry has recently launched her "Katy Perry: Part of Me" documentary in 3D. In the documentaries, these stars have allowed their fans to see the person behind the musician.

This time, towards a path which she has been part of, Beyoncé will once again venture into movies. But this time, she doesn't need to act. She will simply show the version of herself that the fans rarely see.

The said documentary will focus on her 2011 album as well as her marriage to Jay Z and the birth of their first baby, Blue Ivy, last January 2012.

Queen B is said to be presenting the 20 minutes footage on different Hollywood studios in order to find the right distributor for the documentary. As it looks like, the 30-year-old pop superstar is now set to follow the footsteps of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, younger stars who have first started the trend.

Beyoncé teased her fans on her website by leaving a message which would be linked to her documentary, she posted, "Leave Your Footprint on August 19."
