The bickering continues between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao as the long-awaited super fight between the two also continues to stall. Recently, Mayweather has aired out his side after Pacquiao latest comments, saying that the undefeated American boxer has reached a dead end and has nowhere to run.

In an exclusive interview with Ben Thompson of Fight Hype, Mayweather has a lot to say about Pacquiao's comments. According to Mayweather, it is crazy how Pacquiao is no claiming that he wouldn't stand a chance against him after he dared him to fight on May 2. Mayweather, who had previously mocked Pacquiao by posting a video of the Filipino being knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez, said that Marquez took the better of Pacquiao when the eight-division world champion was trying to play tough. He added that Pacquiao wasn't hitting hard when he fought Brandon Rios.

"It's obvious he must know that he's not going to win," Mayweather said. "He feels that in his heart."

According to Mayweather, no other fighter will be able to bait him to slugging and striking hard. For Mayweather, it is all about fighting smart and making the fight as easy as possible. His longevity in boxing and being able to stay undefeated in all his 47 fights doesn't depend on how much punishment he can take, but how much punishment he can inflict on someone.

Contrary to Pacquiao's comments that his fights are boring, Mayweather said that his fights are an art. "I'm an artist and I paint a beautiful picture - a bloody mouth, a bloody nose, cut lip, broken ribs, that's not beautiful on me."

Pacquiao has said that Mayweather can take all the money he wants just to give the fans the fight that they have been longing to see. In January, the Filipino also dared Mayweather to fight for charity. Mayweather said that doesn't like the fact that Pacquiao says that the fight is all about the fans. The Grand Rapids native boxer slams the thought that if Pacquiao is doing it for fans, then he shouldn't have accepted the money that he gets in every bout that he fights. On the topic of fighting for free, Mayweather said it is definitely a "no" for him. He said he fights for a prize and not for free.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the Filipino boxer previously said that he would try the best that he can to make a thrilling and entertaining fight out of the Mayweather fight if indeed it happens on May 2, although he doubts that the American will "engage him in a slugfest." As for his fight strategy, Pacquiao said he will chase Mayweather even if he runs around the ring.

The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight has long been laid on the table as far back as 2009. Five years later, both camps haven't been able to reach a successful negotiation.
