Floyd Mayweather Jr. may still be mourning for his friend Earl Hayes, but it wouldn't stop him for having a good time and a little night out with new flame Liza Hernandez. Mayweather was seen all smiles with Hernandez as they watched basketball game on Dec. 9.

According to TMZ Sports, Mayweather and Hernandez went to see the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings at Staples Center. The Lakers beat the Kings, 98-85.

TMZ Sports thought it was "shocking" for Mayweather to show up at a game in the National Basketball Association at the time when police investigators were still trying to find out why his friend Hayes killed his wife VH1 star Stepahanie Mosely before committing suicide.

TMZ Sports previously reported that Mayweather had witnessed the dreadful murder/suicide involving his friend and wife on FaceTime. The undefeated fighter was on FaceTime with Hayes when the incident happened. While Mayweather was talking to Hayes, shots were fired. Then, Hayes reportedly said that he was going shoot Mosely. TMZ was told that Mayweather tried to stop Hayes from committing the crime.

Moseley was shot 10 to 12 times while she was taking a bath, the investigators said. Hayes later on took his own life when the police authorities arrived on the scene after a call from concerned neighbors. Moseley's body was found in the bathroom, while Hayes' was found in their bedroom.

Sources told the entertainment gossip Web site that Mayweather was trying to persuade Hayes of leaving Moseley, who allegedly had an affair with Trey Songz. The source said that Mayweather dared Hayes and said that he couldn't leave her.

In an article by the New York Daily News, the investigators were reportedly trying to get a hold of Mayweather. The report said that the Los Angeles Police Department has been in constant communication with Mayweather's staff to try to get him on an interview about the tragic incident. However, they still don't know when they will be able to speak with the undefeated fighter, but one thing is for sure - they said that they intend to reveal what Mayweather has to say to the public.
