'The Flash' season 3 spoilers: Draco Malfoy actor is joining the cast as a CSI agent investigating Barry Allen

Season 3 of “The Flash” is still in development. As the story and additional cast members are being arranged, recent updates revealed that Tom Felton will be joining The CW show soon.
Tom Felton, 28, is best known for playing Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter movies from 2001 to 2011, although he also appeared in other films. He has also appeared in TV shows such as “Murder in the First,” “Labyrinth” and “Full Circle.”
TVLine reports that Felton will be a series regular, taking on the role of Julian Dorn, a fellow CSI at the Central City Police Department. He will be one of the few who suspects that Barry Allen is more than just a regular guy. Barry needs to look out for the suspecting Dorn, since it is still uncertain whether he will eventually turn out to be an ally or a villain. Felton is expected to appear early in Season 3.
Blastr states that Julian Dorn was described as Barry’s slightly older and geekier contemporary. His intelligence and intuition are of the same level, which causes him to be doubtful about Barry’s reputation in the office. He will attempt to know Barry’s secrets, while hiding his own.
Felton’s portrayal of the antagonistic character Malfoy always made Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) uncomfortable. It also shows how effective he can be in putting Barry on his heels as Dorn.
As previously confirmed, “The Flash” Season 3 will be largely inspired by the “Flashpoint” storyline in the comics. Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen, said that they will definitely be going for the Flashpoint story, although fans should expect some changes and twists in the TV adaptation.
The plot will also mean a lot of traveling between timelines and probably some crossovers with other shows like “Supergirl” and “Arrow.” The new main villain in the new season has yet to be revealed, but fans expect more about Barry’s background to be unveiled soon.
