Previously on “The Flash,” Barry (Grant Gustin) and the rest of the team had to defend Central City from a Gorilla invasion. This pushed Barry to wrestle with a lot of dark thoughts in his head as he considered killing Grodd so that he can change the future and save Iris’ life.

Fortunately, Barry is not as bad as he is and found another way to save Central City from Grodd and his army. This victory was achieved with Earth-19’s Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) and love was in the air. After Gypsy and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) shared some sweet moments, Jesse (Violett Beane) moved to Earth-1 just to be with Barry. Also, Barry finally proposed to Iris (Candice Patton). While there were a lot of warm moments, things are about to get messed up as someone not too welcome is about to return.

In this upcoming episode , titled “The Wrath of Savitar,” someone is return ing to Central City, but it will not a delightful comeback. The Flash’s most dangerous enemy , Savitar , has returned from the grave and it looks like he will be doing more sinister things this time.

The official synopsis provides that Savitar will visit Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) while he trains with Barry. Wally will start having visions of Savitar , which he hides from the rest of the team. La ter on, a dangerous secret that threatens Iris and Barry’s happiness is unveiled .

The official YouTube promo reveals that Wally appears to be disoriented when he suddenly gets visions of Savitar. Barry tells him that all that he sees is all in his head as he is just being messed with. They later conclude that Savitar is spying on all of them through Wally. This only means that they have to find other ways to stop him this time.

Savitar will manage to find a way back to Earth and get in touch with the team in a dangerous manner. This spells problems for Barry and Iris. It has to be remembered that visions of Savitar stabbing Iris to death has been bothering Barry for quite some time already.

The team will begin to worry about Wally’s mental vulnera bility towards Savitar’s powers. This is especially after they learn that he has been having those strange visions. They will suspect that Wally might have become an unwilling spy for the god of speed.

This episode of “The Flash” will air on Tuesday, March 7, at 8 p.m. on The CW in the US. It also airs on FOX8 in Australia.
