"The Flash" returns from mid-season break on January 24, 2017
The fastest man alive is officially back after taking a long break for the holidays. That said, someone will be joining him in his return, but the encounter will not exactly be pleasant. Fans of “The Flash” should brace themselves as a new big bad is about to make his debut on Central City.

The upcoming episode of “The Flash,” titled “Borrowing Problems From The Future,” will let viewers witness Flash and Vibe travel to the future and do what they can to prevent Iris’ death and defeat Savitar. For those who can recall that part where Savitar pushes a blade through Iris’ chest, they might also recall a news report about another villain named Plunder (Stephen Huszar). New photos reveal that Plunder will, indeed, be appearing on “The Flash” as the next villain.
TVLine posts stills for episode 10, where Plunder is seen carrying a high tech firearm and trying to break open a glass case as he steals something. Viewers will have to wait further to see what this new villain is after and if he is working with Savitar. The photos also showcase what the new Star Labs museum looks like. The team was not too excited about Harry’s idea, but it looks like things have taken a turn since everyone looks all dressed up.
Plunder, whose real name is Detective Jared Morillo, was first encountered by The Flash when he journeyed to the mirror world once. He then thought that Plunder was out to kill him for reward money. The Flash managed to escape but little did he know that Plunder also had made his way out of the mirror world. Once outside, Plunder joined forces with Blacksmith’s Rogues and had sinister plans to ruin Barry’s life by launching attacks on his loved ones. Plunder is an expert marksman and assassin and even with the absence of metahuman abilities, he is a big threat to the fastest man alive.
This episode of “The Flash” will air January 24, 2017 on The CW. It also airs on FOX8 in Australia.
