The CW recently announced their full schedule of premiere dates for fall 2016. There are several notable shows that will launch soon, as well as renewed seasons of beloved titles like “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Arrow.”

The CW fall 2016 list is as follows, airing in Eastern standard:

Tuesday, October 4, 2016

  • 8:00 – The Flash (Season Premiere)
  • 9:00 – No Tomorrow (Series Premiere)

Monday, October 17, 2016

Friday, October 21, 2016

  • 8:00 – The Vampire Diaries (Season Premiere)
  • 9:00 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Season Premiere – new time)

CarterMatt states that “The 100,” “iZombie,” “Reign,” and “The Originals” will air during midseason, and there will be a number of new shows coming later in 2016, such as the Archie comics adaptation, “Riverdale.” The CW also pushed back “iZombie” to let the new show “No Tomorrow” premiere after the networks top show, “Supergirl.” In particular, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” will be moved to a tougher time slot, which puts its ratings more at risk.

According to Deadline, the IHeartRadioMusic Festival will be featured on Oct. 6 and 7, 2016.

Variety writes that “The Flash” will air on Oct. 4, 2016, the same night that the second of four post-convention presidential debates will be held. The Big Four broadcast networks will provide coverage of the debate between the GOP and Democratic vice presidential candidates.

The CW has followed the same October rollout schedule consistently and avoided the busy premiere weeks of September. “Arrow” will be launching Season 5, paired with “Frequency,” a new drama. “Supergirl” Season 2 will launch on The CW, after transferring from CBS. “Jane the Virgin” will air Season 3, while “The Flash” will be on its third season.

Overall, The CW viewers have a lot of big titles to look forward to in a few months. More updates and details on The CW fall 2016 schedule are expected soon.
