"Five Nights at Freddy's" fans religiously check on the websites run by Scott Cawthon, trying to make something out of the cryptic messages by the game maker. Scottgames.com previously had dialogues with Fnafworld.com. Most were under the belief that there could be a new game coming soon. The dialogue may not necessarily be a tease for an upcoming game but a movie where Cawthon is heavily involved in.

Nevertheless, "Five Nights at Freddy's" fans have been urged to take the rumors with a grain of salt, meaning the codes and dialogue can point to anything. However, a few have noticed a new development on the Scottgames.com website.

The site now renders a large static image as pointed out by Attack of the Fanboy. The Scott Games logo still appears at the top of the page, but other things (including Scott Cawthon’s contact information) have been conspicuously taken out. Gazing at the static image at the "Five Nights at Freddy's" site could mean something or nothing. Whatever the case may be, FNaF fans are trying to figure out if the static image was placed to tease an announcement.

The static image on the "Five Nights at Freddy's" site appeared last June 26. Some have gone as far to weed out the actual file name of the image (interrupt.jpg) and associate it a murderer tinkering around the security cameras to do their evil work.

Also, there are some who suggest that the image went up on the day known as the day of the "Missing Children" incident. These can be found in the newspaper clippings on the first game.

The static image came up not long after teased images of the book "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones" came out. From here, it may be anyone’s guess on what it could mean. Could it be another book? How about a game? Worse, what if the static image was meant to indicate that Scott Cawthon is clueless on his next move for the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise? The last suggestion is, of course, tricky, so it would be best to wait and see what Cawthon has up his sleeve.
