Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill are three of the big names in the running to play Christian Grey in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." With casting for the film still far off, Matt, Ian and Henry aren't all sure to secure a spot for the lead role. In fact, there has been a new name "Arrow"-ed in for the role of Grey and it is none other than Stephen Amell.

E.L. James best-selling erotica novel continues to be buzzed about all over the world. Given Universal Studios has announced a film adaptation for "Fifty Shades" fans are very much excited for the cast announcement. However, James and Universal Studios have announced that casting is still far off schedule.

Of course, this isn't a hindrance for fans of "Fifty Shades" who have started various web polls selecting their own personal choices for the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Currently in the lead to play Anastasia Steele is "Man Men" star, Alexis Bledel. "Game of Thrones" Emilia Clarke follows in at second place while Felicity Jones makes it to third place. A few favourites for Ana include Ashley Greene, Ashley Benson, Amanda Seyfried and Emma Watson.

As for the role of Christian Grey, Matt Bomer of "White Collar" is leading web polls while Henry Cavill follows suit at second place. Ian Somerhalder continues to be a fan favourite along with a few note-worthy stars, Jessie Pavelka, Chace Crawford and Taylor Lautner.

Fans will be delighted to hear that a new name has been added in the running for Christian Grey. "Arrow" star Stephen Amell is said to have "had a meeting about" the potential casting for Grey which was enough to pique the interest of "Fifty" fans.

"I get questions about Christian Grey all the time," said Amell, adding, "That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it. Long way off. I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn't call it long, but I wouldn't call it close."
