Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are probably one of the most celebrated movie couples in the history of romantic Hollywood movies, thanks to "The Notebook." But will the two possibly leave the same mark on "Fifty Shades of Grey" if given the opportunity?

Their movie "The Notebook" is one of the most favorite romantic films of all time in Hollywood. They too didn't anticipate that the movie could be such a big hit. From then on the Ryan and Rachel or famously known as Noah and Allie became the dream pair in Hollywood.

But since their split, Ryan and Rachel have never been seen together again. So some folks are wondering, given the right movie, will the fans see the two of them again back in the big screen.

Some people can't help but reminisce about Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams teaming up together one more time. Some fans have even considered the two for the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the coming movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel.

Ryan Gosling is one of the top picks to play the role of Christian and Rachel comes to mind when thinking about the lady to match Gosling. It is undeniable that the two have major chemistry on screen and even off screen in fact. And since McAdams is single once again, the only problem in the equation would be Ryan's current girlfriend Eva Mendes. Would she approve or disapprove of the team up?

"God bless The Notebook. It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that," Ryan once said of Rachel.
