A lot of Hollywood actors and actresses have expressed interest in the lead roles for the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." On the other hand, fans of the BDSM-novels are busy naming their own favourites for the leads. However, not all the fan choices are golden. Check out the most unusual casting options made by fans for the role of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

E.L. James would be surprised by the amount of people commenting on various posts regarding the official casting of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Some may agree on Ian Somerhalder being cast while a few would gravitate towards Matt Bomer. While these actors are the best bets for the role, some fans have gone to the extremes in naming their own favourites for the lead roles.

The latest actress a few fans had expressed interest in being Anastasia Steele on screen is Lindsay Lohan. Surprisingly, even the former Disney star thinks she's appropriate for the role and agrees that "Fifty Shades" is the perfect comeback film. Judging from how "Liz & Dick" fared at the box office, Universal Studios and Focus Features wouldn't pick Lohan for the role.

If some fans took the time to read comments on a few "Fifty Shades" casting tabloids, they'd be surprised to hear that other lovers of the S&M series are eyeing "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham for the role of Anastasia Steele. Given Farrah is of the right age, could the "Backdoor Mom" pull off the role and would E.L. James agree with the casting?

As for the role of Christian Grey, a few unusual fan favourites for the role include Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, James Deen and Johnny Depp. "The Voice" coach, Adam Levine has also been included in the mix but given his acting portfolio, Adam would be the least option for the role.

With casting speculation on going, more names will be included in the mix along with a few not-so worthy celebrities for the role. When will Amanda Bynes be named a potential Anastasia Steele?
