Despite the countless names being mentioned as worthy of the lead roles in "Fifty Shades of Grey", not one beats the top contending couple for the roles. Fan favourites, Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer continue to be the number one bets for the role of Ana and Christian respectively. In fact, a lot of viral memes showcasing their sexy sides have filled the web.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" had first broken into the scene late last year. All thanks to the "Twilight" inspired fan fiction E.L. James' BDSM-themed novel is the talk-of-the-town and continues to be. Now, with a film adaptation in the works, the frenzy and hype has doubled.

Universal Studios and Focus Features are currently focused on the search for a suitable director. This would certainly mean that casting let alone auditions are far off schedule. Of course, leave it to fans of "Fifty" to come up with their own means.

Hundreds of web polls have been up on the web since the film adaptation had been announced. Countless Hollywood celebrities have also been named as possible stars to portray Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Yet, even with one new name constantly being added to the list, no one has managed to beat the strongest contenders for the role namely Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel.

Even with Bomer's interview late last month stating he wants nothing to do with the film, fans are dead set on having the "White Collar" star nab the role. Opposite Bomer, Alexis Bledel has continuously been paired off as his Anastasia Steele. A lot of sexy viral memes have scattered over the web starring Matt Bomer as Christian Grey and Alexis Bledel as Anastasia Steele.

A Facebook page with over a thousand likes has been put up for these two actors. Fans clearly agree that Matt and Alexis are the perfect stars for the roles.
