'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie casting remains a work in progress, albeit production talks are still not for public consumption. All the anticipating fans could do is rally behind their favorite Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele celebrities. Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel make one of the several couples being imagined for the FSOG lead roles. Here are three of the reasons why.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Casting: Matt Bomer as Christian Grey, Alexis Bledel as Ana Steele?

There are many reasons why FSOG fans are pairing up Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel. One, the lead roles in the 2014 film version of E.L. James' erotic fiction must look gorgeous together. Two, Matt and Alexis deserve to be bigger names in Hollywood because they've been under-appreciated far too long.

Setting aside whatever bias fans may have, here are three reasons why Bomer and Bledel should be cast as Mr Grey and Ms Steele:

1. Dreamy couple. Matt and Alexis look great together. It doesn't take a solid 'Fifty Shades' fan to see that. Even in fan-edited photos, the pair sparks some great chemistry that's rarely seen in the movies today.

2. Innocence meets mystery. Matt, 35, can look 28 or 27 with only minor work from 'Fifty Shades' film stylists and production crew. The same goes for Alexis, 31. She can pull the look and vibe of a woman in her early 20s without too much effort on the part of production. What the crew can't help is the lack of compelling acting skills in some celebs. Alexis' interpretation of innocence and Matt's take on dark mystery are magical flavors other pairs can't easily bring together on screen.

3. Eyes for each other. Matt's and Alexis' piercing deep blue eyes melt many FSOG fans' hearts. The intensity in their gaze bring a lot of action to one's imagination. Together, Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel will make Christian Grey and Ana Steele larger than life - in one brief, steady gaze.
