"Twilight" fans still hope that Kristen Stewart be cast as Anastasia Steele in E.L. James best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey." The possibility of Kristen getting cast is highly unlikely which of course leads "Twi-hards" to choose the second option, Ashley Greene. The brunette beauty is actually getting a lot of hype for the role of Ana but does Ashley Green really make it to the cut?

"Fifty Shades of Grey" continue to become the most buzzed about topic on the web. Apart from the highly anticipated film adaptation set for summer of 2014, fans are so looking forward to the official cast. Universal Studios is yet to start screening for potential stars given the director's seat is still empty. For one, the script is still being completed by Kelly Marcel.

Of course, leave it to "Fifty Shades" fans to get the imagination and possibilities rolling with the cast. For the role of Christian Grey, Matt Bomer of "White Collar" is in the lead while Henry Cavill follows at second. "Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder, who was last year's favourite and top contender, is now at the third spot.

As for the role of Christian Grey's submissive, to date Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" is in the lead for the role of Anastasia Steele. Alexis is followed by Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" while Felicity Jones of "Like Crazy" comes in at third. Though Emilia might have the chance at the top spot, rumour has it that Alexis Bledel is out of the running for the role.

However, Emilia might have tough competition with "Twilight" stars, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene. Both stars' names have been continuously mentioned on possible casting choices for the role of Anastasia Steele. It has also been rumoured that Ashley Greene is the best choice to star opposite Ian Somerhalder.

Ashley Greene may have the innocent and virginal look down to the pat but that doesn't secure her the role. Yet, with Ian and Ashley's dating history it would be awkward for both stars to work together considering all the sexual and racy scenes they'd have to shoot.
