“Fear The Walking Dead,” the companion series of “The Walking Dead” is a family drama, according to showrunner Dave Erickson. Three new spoiler photos of “Fear The Walking Dead” are also out.

Entertainment Weekly has released three spoiler photos of “The Walking Dead” companion series titled “Fear The Walking Dead.” Also, showrunner Dave Erickson share some details about the new show and what fans can expect in Season 1.

Erickson stated that the new show is a family drama. He discussed with “The Walking Dead” comic book writer Robert Kirkman that they are starting off earlier in the entire apocalypse scenario.

“And what that allowed us to do in the pilot and season 1 is establish our core family, establish the problems and the conflicts that they have, and really let that be the initial world that we live in,” Erickson said. “And we layer in the onset of the apocalypse, we layer in our first walkers, but it’s really an effort to exacerbate the problems that already exist with Kim Dickens’ character and Cliff Curtis’ character and their sort of dysfunctional blended family,” he added.

He mentioned that the focus of “Fear of The Walking Dead” will not be entirely on the zombies but the show will explore the characters and human life before the apocalypse hits.

One of the “Fear The Walking Dead” spoiler photos shows Alycia Debnam-Carey who portrays the character of Alicia. She is seen standing on the bleachers of her school. It is all empty. Can this be a shot after the zombie apocalypse? Also, lead stars of the show Cliff Curtis (Travis) and Kim Dickens (Madison) are seen in the two other spoiler photos. Check out photos, here.
