The companion series of “The Walking Dead” shows the start of the deadly plague. The first official trailer for “Fear The Walking Dead” was launched during the San Diego Comic-Con.

“Fear The Walking Dead” Season 1 promo opens with a scene from Travis’ family getting ready for the day in Los Angeles. It shows the urban setting of Los Angeles. Travis calls his son Chris, however he tells Travis that he doesn’t want to come.

Travis explains that they are all trying to build a family together. There are shots from Madison’s school and they seem to be discussing about the flu that is spreading in the city.

Meanwhile, Travis is talking about Jack London in his class. He tells his students that London is trying to teach them how not to die.

Next shot in the “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 1 promo shows Nick in a building and he sees a walker. Nick runs for his life and a car hits him. He tells Madison that everyone was dead. Slowly, the trailer unfolds what is in store for the residents of Los Angeles.

The voiceover says that the authorities don’t know if it is a microbe or a virus, but it is spreading. Travis and Madison and are stuck in a jam with helicopters hovering over, and then they hear a gunshot.

Soon, a leaked footage of a man eating another man appears. The cops try to kill the infected person by shooting him. However, he comes back to life in the zombie state.

It is chaos and destruction as the police try to take control of the situation. However, they don’t know what they are dealing with.

“Fear The Walking Dead” Season 1 debuts on Sunday, August 23, 2015 on AMC.
