John Green's best-selling novel turned film, "The Fault in Our Stars" finally has a complete cast. Willem Dafoe officially signed on for the production this weekend as Author Peter Van Houten. The film is currently being shot at Pittsburgh. Here's everything there is to know about the highly anticipated film.

"The Fault in Our Stars" was named Time Magazine's book of the year in 2012. It's not surprising given the book did capture the hearts of a lot of readers, not to mention cause a bucket load of tears. All thanks to the hype on the novel, Green's book is currently being made into a movie. For those who have yet to read "The Fault in Our Stars," a synopsis is as follows (via Goodreads.com).

"Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten."

The film stars "The Descendants" Shailene Woodley as Hazel Grace Lancaster and "Divergent's" Ansel Elgort. Nat Wolff joins the cast as Isaac while Mike Birbiglia plays the part of Patrick. Other notable stars in the film are Sam Trammell as Mr Lancaster, Laura Dern as Mrs Lancaster and David Whalen as Mr Waters.
