“The Fate of the Furious” will not seek the presence of Paul Walker and just like the fans of the franchise, Vin Diesel at several occasions is taken aback by this fact. Recently, Diesel shared a photo of him with Walker and posted a heartwarming message along with it.

On the course of filming the "Fast and Furious" franchise, the bond between Paul Walker and Vin Diesel only grew stronger and they became best of friends. Diesel cannot have imagined doing a film in the franchise without his friend. He has mentioned many times that the journey of the eight instalment has been tough for him. Even during the launch of “The Fate of the Furious” trailer, Diesel asserted that they have worked really hard to live up to the expectations of Walker.

As the release date of the movie is approaching, Diesel can’t apparently help but to think about Walker. He wrote in an Instagram post recently, “The arduous road to production, the challenging task of filming this latest chapter. The record breaking trailer debut and the shocked world at what the dark road implied…you Pablo have given me strength...purpose and resolve. I promised you we would make something you would be proud of and I pray that we have... miss you.”

The photo that Diesel has shared is from the MTV Movie Awards when he along with Walker won the award for best on-screen duo. They won the same honour in 2014 as well but unfortunately, Walker was not there to receive it. The world had lost him in a tragic car accident in November 2013.

The makers of the film have never missed an opportunity to honour Walker’s legacy. The last sequence of "Furious 7" was one of the examples of how they chose to bid adieu to Walker in a heartfelt manner, using a body double and CGI effects to film the farewell scene.

“The Fate of the Furious” will release across Australia on April 12, 2017 and Paul Walker will definitely be missed. Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tej Parker), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), Elsa Pataky (Elena Neve), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey) and Kurt Russell (Frank Petty) will return with their respective roles along with newcomers Charlize Theron (Cipher), Scott Eastwood (law enforcement agent) and Helen Mirren (undisclosed role).
